Tavon Smith, 34, has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Jaward Hannah in Gwynn Oak during an incident in November, authorities announced on Friday.
On Friday, Nov. 10, officers from the Baltimore County were called to the 3400 block of Kelox Road, where they found Hannah suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and trauma to his upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to officials on Jan. 12, detectives from the department arrested Smith without incident and charged him with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm with a felony conviction.
He is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
